When I click start it doesn’t do anything, and sometimes it gets up, only to go down a few seconds later.
Please chek your MineOS and minecraft logs.
Please check that your java version matches the java version the minecraft server you want to run needs.
Please try to start the server from command line to see what error messages pop up
- What is the path to the log files? 2. Is Java 16 good for 1.20, or do I need a newer version? 3. How do I start it from the command line?

use the command “java -jar [server jar file name]”
the logs are here:
MineOS log: /var/log/mineos.log
Minecraft server log: /var/games/minecraft/servers/servername/logs/latest.log
Unfortunately I d not know the right java version for each server type or version, but search this forum for your server version to see if anyone else has had any problems. Most often their post have the solution
It turns out the problem was I was using Java 16 instead of 17
