every time I’ve uploaded my world it just creates a new world instead.
If you are trying to import a world that you created on a stand-alone box to a server. You have to make sure that all the world files are in the same directory with directory name in listed in the server.properites.
Try creating a temporary server and then check out the properties file and directory structure.
