On the current LTS Ubuntu server, I installed MineOS according to the official MineOS instructions. Everything went fine until I wanted to turn on WebUi using systemctl start mineos. It showed an error :
Job for mineos.service failed because the service did not take the steps required by its unit configursrion
After reading this forum, I came across the command:
"sudo node service.js restart"
When I execute this command, the systemctl start mineos command works and the WebUi loads (which probably shouldn’t work this way). However, I can’t log in even though I’m sure I’m using the correct password and login.
