Last five days i have been having this issue with my Minecraft Server, i keep getting Authentication servers are down. Please try again later, sorry! Only problem is it only occurs for my server. i can connect to other servers no problem, I also keep getting this message: root@core games/minecraft# git fetch
error: Couldn’t resolve host ‘github.com’ while accessing https://github.com/hexparrot/mineos-node/info/refs
fatal: HTTP request failed ,
Can someone shed some light as to where i should start looking?
It would appear that your DNS Settings aren’t set (meaning it is unable to connect to the internet/network correctly in general). If you have webmin installed (default in MineOS Turnkey), you can go there to configure DNS and IP settings…or, via the control panel that shows once the OS’ startup finishes (again, default in MineOS Turnkey)
You might want to use 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 as the DNS (Google’s Public DNS Service).
Can you verify you have a working internet connection from the terminal?
ping google.com

I had moved the server from one location to another and connected the ethernet into the wrong port on the server. I got it working again.

Sorry if im not in the right place or anything, but i have an issue that might be best asked here. (or so i thought?)
Well, my issue is that when i have mineOS running on Truenas Scale, i can only use it in offline mode, because “the authentication servers are down”. I checked “https://downdetector.com/status/minecraft/”, and i am having this issue multiple days. I found that some people could not ping google or had the time set wrong. This is not happening in my MineOS chart. (verified with ping google.com & date commands).
