In my MineOS webui, if I go to the console tab, it does not update whats going on with the server. I can send commands using the command line entry and they work fine. The history listed on the page is from a couple days ago when I initially started the server.
I have an older server on the same machine that still works fine, if I start it.

fixed it. Started digging around and looking for settings that were screwy or something. Decided to rename the latest.log file in the logs directory to latest.log.bak, and when I restarted the server, I had a current log file again. Everything is working fine now.
If renaming the file was the fix, the most likely cause is permissions/ownership. Since it’s still there, you can verify this is the case by checking if it is still owned by mc:mc (if that’s the user you’re using). If anything should happen in the future, try to narrow down if you’ve done any root-related command-lining.
I just encountered this issue myself, However Scrufdog_mike’s suggestion did not work for me, I had to copy and delete the latest log which seems to have gotten corrupted. I restarted the server and it created a new log file and seem to be working correctly now. Only thing i did was update the Webui Friday? go figure.
Hex parrot, i’m having this issue again, log does not seem to be responding even though the server is running and working as it should? Any suggestion where to start troubleshooting?
What commit are you on (in the webui, top right)?
What does the mineos log say? /var/log/mineos.log
What kind of minecraft server software are you running?
I repaired it again by running the Webui update, i had to use the reset script , which stated i had a file outdated or something.

If the problem persists then yes, provide the full mineos.log.

Based on your logs, vs. what is in this thread, this isn’t so much the same issue. Go ahead and repost this as a new issue because the original stuff is almost 3 years older and it doesn’t look like their solutions (even if your symptoms are similar) will apply to you.
With your new post, let us know what distro you’re using, what username you’re using, and the method of installation. The errors in your traceback are missing these details from your grep.
