I’m running MineOS on an HP Proliant DL380 G4, I checked the java version and it shows me 1.7.0 MineOS is the only Operating system running on the server, I looked up how to update Java, being new to linux, i was a bit confused, does MineOS update Java when installed/updated or do i need to do it manually on my end? Sorry for the newbie question.
MineOS–what you download through git commands–is separate from all the other components; java doesn’t get updated unless you do so manually, such as adding different package repositories or downloading it direct from Oracle.
