I followed this video Turn Your Old PC Into a Minecraft Server for FREE with MineOS! - YouTube. can’t see any of the profiles. I installed this before and had the same issue but it would show the profiles but won’t let me download i would click download but the web user was not responding.
Heya, can you provide your /var/log/mineos.log? This file usually indicates all of the issues that the webui is otherwise not reporting in the web browser itself.
when i type /var/log/mineos.log in to cmd it says permission denied even when I’m in root

You’re doing things as root, which is almost certainly the problem. Minecraft servers shouldn’t be run as root, the superuser.
Is that instruction from the video you watched?
Fixing this means fixing permissions on /var/games/minecraft. General idea:, no files inside the following directories should be owned by root–they should be owned by a different user:
/var/games/minecraft/servers
/var/games/minecraft/archive
/var/games/minecraft/backups
