I know someone else already asked this but I have no idea what they were talking about. The only profiles that show up are Spigot, Paperspigot, Imagicalmine and Nukkit and not even the latest versions.
First question: is this a fresh install?
- If it is, the I recommend you run through the WebUI Update instructions.
Updating the Webui - MineOS Wiki
2: If this is not a fresh install, the try running the steps above.
If that doesn’t work, then we’ll need more information. For example, which MineOS package you installed, what environment it was installed on (bare metal, virtual machine or “nas service”), Which account did you use to log in?
I installed the latest one, in a virtual environment, VMware and it is a fresh install. The problem is I don’t know where to enter that code to update the web ui.
You will need to use a terminal application, like PuTTY, and open an SSH channel to the VM’s IP address.
When I try to update WebUi command prompt says
Updating mineos-node repository…fatal: unable to access ‘GitHub - hexparrot/mineos-node: node.js implementation of mineos minecraft management’: Could not resolve host: github.com
FAILED. I was logged in as root while doing this
Are you using Mineos-node.js or the MineOS ISO version?
Im not sure… the file name is mineos-node_stretch-x64.iso
Which command did you enter that gave the error?
/bin/bash update_webui.sh
Are you able to ping 8.8.8.8?
heh i have no idea what you mean. are you asking if i can to the ip 8.8.8.8?
Internet appears to be down.
I expect pinging to not work, wget, etc.
If you installed MineOS Turnkey, it means that the network configuration is incorrect or incomplete. Check out this page, which shows you the method of reviewing/redoing the config:
