Joshua Ruehlig of the FreeNAS fame has blessed us with his own contribution to the MineOS Community by creating a plugin to easily install MineOS-on-FreeNAS (a FreeBSD-based distro).

This plugin first started development around April 2014 and just this month it has been slated as ready for widespread use and has been featured on the FreeNAS website and FreeNAS Twitter feed.
Thanks to this plugin, we see FreeBSD making a fourteen-fold increase in usage as the base system for MineOS and I–for one–cannot contain my enjoyment~ and I look forward to seeing this trend continue going forward!
