i change the eula.txt file to true and it still doesnt work any suggestions or things i should do
If it’s just Minecraft 1.12.2 that isn’t working, it’s because the ISO you’ve downloaded shipped with an old Java. Upgrade java from the command line and you’re set.
As a bonus, if you can provide the URL to the ISO you downloaded, I can fix this once and for all.
