My friends want me to make a pixelmon server, I have the forge java profile on my server and the .jar pixelmon file, but I don’t know where to go from there. I heard theres a mod folder you put the mod file into, but I have no idea where it is and whether its on the web ui or the actual server pc its self. I’ve looked online to no avail but I can’t find any tutorials that make the process any clearer to me.
It’s very similar to how you’d configure it locally.
- Setup a new forge server. (Using the installer, then jar file)
- Once installed correctly, in the machine the server is located, you can find the games files under
/var/games/minecraftif all the defaults are used. - Inside the forge server, there is a folder called “mods”, where you can place the .jar file of pixelmon.
