How to import a server? Also, server wont open!

When I open the MineOS server, It closes after a couple of seconds. Also, I have WinSCP and I have logged into the directory for the /var/games/minecraft to see the logs, but I can’t remove/add/edit any of the files in that directory! If you have any answers to the questions above, PLEASE reply, I have been looking for answers ALL day!!!

Most likely issues:

  1. using a server jar that needs a different version of java
  2. trying to run as a non-root user after having started the server as root at least once.

Are any of these applicable?

You can share /var/log/mineos.log if we need to dig in further.

I am pretty sure that I have the most recent version of Java installed, but maybe not.
