Can't update iptables

I have MineOS installed on a Hyper-V headless server virtual. I got one MC server up and running no problem. I’m working on my second, get it up and running, but the port’s closed, and iptables needs root.

I can’t install sudo, because I can’t get root. I can’t edit the ssl config because I can’t access root.

If the OS is running in a virtual, is there any way to get root access? Why is sudo not installed by default?

I totally forgot that step; I’d just set up several virtuals and they all ran together. Thanks!
