I have started to setup mineos on Lubuntu. I cannot create profiles through the webui. I am logged in as “root,” and the box at the top is green, but whenever I try to add a profile I get an orange popup in the corner that “Server did not respond to request.” Without any profiles, I can’t make a server. I think it is likely that I set something up incorrectly, but I am not sure what. Thank you for your assistance.
Does the javascript console report any errors?
Does /var/log/mineos.log?
Alright. I changed some file permissions with chmod and got it so that I can now make profiles. At least, they show up in webui. However, I got a new error when I tried to make a server. I can create the server, but I cannot start it. I get this error: “rsync: change_dir “/var/games/minecraft/profiles/vanilla180” failed: No such file or directory (2) rsync error: some files/attrs were not transferred (see previous errors) (code 23) at main.c(1183) [sender=3.1.1]”.
Did you “update” the profile (to download the jar from the Internet) before starting the server?
