How do I update java on a Debian device without desktop enviroment?

Its impossible. I cant find anything about how to update it. I need it to start up my mineos server. which cant run without java 16, which is really bad. Can someone maybe help me? I am trying to update through Putty, and I dont have desktop environment installed.

With putty an shell access you do not need desktop envorimanet (GUI)
