21w19a snapshot not starting on server

I installed MineOS on a dedicated system, been running great up until the latest snapshot 21w19a.

root@mineos-tkldev ~# java -version
openjdk version “15.0.2” 2021-01-19
OpenJDK Runtime Environment (build 15.0.2+7-27)
OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (build 15.0.2+7-27, mixed mode, sharing)

I do have the Java 15 install, yet Mojang states Java 16 is required. Am I now going to have to move to the Java 16 or is this suppose to work?
